New Zealand humble Bangladesh, set up final date with Pakistan

New Zealand affirmed a finale date with Pakistan in the T20 tri-series with a simple 48-run win over Bangladesh at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch

Match more or less

New Zealand innings was

Engaging beginning to end. Finn Allen (32 off 19) got the hosts moving with 3 fours and 2 sixes right off the bat. The huge hitting from Conway at the opposite end (5 fours, 3 sixes) kept the pressure on all through the innings with his 6th T20I fifty as Bangladesh's pace and spin went for runs the same. Martin Guptill, who was playing this game, scored a steadier 34 off 27 but it was Phillips' firecrackers towards the end that truly got New Zealand past the 200-run mark.

The Phillips finish

Adam Milne picked 3 for 24 while Michael Bracewell and Tim Southee picked two each.
